What is Invisalign^® First?

Invisalign^® First is specially designed for children aged 6 to 10. These smooth, removable clear aligners help guide the growth of both existing and incoming teeth, making early orthodontic care comfortable and convenient.

Because the aligners can be taken out, your child can eat, brush, and floss normally – making it an easy and positive first step in their orthodontic journey.

How Invisalign^® First Works

Invisalign^® First works by gently expanding the dental arch to create space for new teeth, promoting healthy alignment as your child grows. This process, known as dental arch expansion, encourages natural development and helps prevent future crowding or misalignment.

Every treatment begins with a thorough consultation with Dr Woodhouse. If Invisalign^® First is suitable, we’ll take digital scans and X-rays at the same appointment, which are then used to create your child’s custom aligners at the Invisalign^® lab.
