Why Invisalign^® treatment?

Invisalign^® uses state-of-the-art, virtually invisible, patented aligners that can comfortably straighten teeth in as little as three months. It’s the most proven aligner technology to straighten teeth.

Invisalign^® clear aligners are removable, so you can take them out for meals, important events and regular oral hygiene.

How does Invisalign^® treatment work?

Invisalign^® treatment uses a series of custom-made aligners that gradually apply pressure to move your teeth into their correct position comfortably. Each set of aligners will be worn for approximately a week before the next set in the series is replaced, once the teeth have moved.

Invisalign^® technology uses 3D imaging and computer-aided design (CAD) software to create your journey to a straighter, more uniform smile. It will make a step-by-step treatment plan that outlines how your teeth will gradually move and reposition during treatment.

During your initial consultation for Invisalign^® treatment, which is £95, our orthodontist, Dr Neil Woodhouse, will take digital impressions using Invisalign^®’s 3D scanner to create a virtual model of your teeth and a roadmap of how they’ll move each week.

Types of Invisalign^® treatment

Invisalign^® Comprehensive: This is the full Invisalign^® treatment for adults and teens. It can treat even complex orthodontic issues.

Invisalign^® Moderate: If you have moderate orthodontic issues, we can treat you in a shorter time frame with Invisalign^® Moderate.

Invisalign^® Lite: For patients who only have misalignments with the front six teeth, we can align your smile in six months or less.

Invisalign^® Express: This is the fastest Invisalign^® treatment for patients who only have mild misalignments with the front six teeth. It can align your smile in as little as three months.

How much does Invisalign^® treatment cost?

Invisalign^® treatment costs £1,990 for one arch at Neyo Orthodontics using the lightest system and £2,990 if you want to straighten two rows of teeth. With Invisalign^® treatment, there are no hidden costs, additional fees or surprises.

The price often includes everything you need for your entire treatment, such as your series of aligners, cleaning equipment and retainers.

How much does Invisalign® treatment cost?

Patients can also choose to spread the cost of their treatment using 0% dental finance over 12 months, which means you can pay as low as £165.83 per month.

How long does Invisalign^® treatment take to straighten teeth?

The duration of Invisalign^® treatment will depend on the condition of your bite. If you have minor or mild problems, such as slightly crooked teeth or gaps, you can expect Invisalign^® treatment to be effective within 2 to 6 months.

If you’re closing gaps between teeth with Invisalign^® treatment, the aligner moves 0.2mm with every tray. Therefore, if your gap is 0.6mm, Invisalign^® will take three months to close.

However, most patients we meet use Invisalign^® treatment to correct more complex bite problems, such as overcrowding, crooked teeth, or overbites, and in these cases, treatment can take as long as 9 months.

Is Invisalign^® the best aligner system?

Invisalign^® treatment might be the most Googled and used type, but it’s not always the best type for straightening teeth. Finding the right clear aligner system for you will depend on your budget, lifestyle and orthodontic issues.
